The Marketing Team istasked with articulating the value of Formics offering to a diverse audience and driving top of funnel growth. We are creative organized flexible and entrepreneurial. Each week and month looks a bit different as we continue to experiment with new strategies and optimize our approach to existing channels. Our team is a perfect fit for those looking to work on a range of projects as a member of a team driven by a singular mission: help Formic grow.

Formics SDRs are the first line of action to help us uncover valuable prospects as well as inform and engage those interested in us already. They work closely with both Marketing and Sales team members to identify prospects generate interest and build pipeline growth. Theywork on a hybrid schedule 3 days/week) in our Headquarters office in Woodridge IL. As an early member of our scaling SDR team youll have the unique opportunity to directly impact Formics growth and accelerate your career. As Sales Development Representative you will

  • Generate awareness for Formic through identifying and prospecting accounts (from SMB/MidMarket to Fortune 1000
  • Drive marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and set appointments for the sales team
  • Follow up with warm leads (form fills webinar attendees trade shows etc.
  • Create outbound prospecting lists to email call and connect with on social platforms
  • Monitor website traffic to identify high intent prospects for outbound contact
  • Generate and test sequences to continuously improve conversion rates
  • Leverage the tech stack of HubSpot Salesforce LinkedIn ZoomInfo and more to connect with prospects
  • Collaborate and encourage team members to drive success

What makes you a great fit:

  • 12 years of experience and demonstrated success meeting and exceeding KPIs in a structured outbound sales environment
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule 3 days/week) in our Woodridge IL headquarters
  • Natural curiosity and an enjoyment to learn about businesses products and processes
  • Capability of communicating effectively with CLevel VP and Director prospects through phone and email
  • Processdriven mentality: you understand that actions create outcomes and where you fit into the bigger picture; able to be detailoriented in your actions even as you move quickly
  • Comfort operating in a fast paced environment
  • Actionoriented: a proven ability to initiate tasks independently and adapt swiftly to feedback

Total Rewards:

Compensation packages at Formic consist of salaries benchmarked against similar stage growth companies insurance (medical dental vision life STD LTD) and equity in Formic itself. As an early stage startup equity is an important part of our investment in you and your investment in Formic. When Formic succeeds we all succeed.

Eligible Sales positions will also include a commission plan the formal and detailed structure of which will be shared for mutual agreement once onboarded.

All final offer amounts are customcrafted based on the cash/equity ratio preference of the candidate as well as their experience geographical location and cost of labor and more and may vary from the range listed below. Ultimately were seeking top performers who will make a difference to our business and were open to negotiating the compensation structure for the right candidate.

The expected base pay range for this position is below.

Base Salary Range:

$55000 $65000 USD
