Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage daytoday onsite operations of commercial construction projects including scheduling quality control and safety compliance.
Supervise construction staff and subcontractors ensuring that all work is performed according to design specifications and industry standards.
Coordinate with project managers architects engineers and clients to establish project timelines and communicate progress updates.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the construction process identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed and promote a culture of safety on the job site.
Manage project budgets track expenses and ensure materials and labor are utilized efficiently.
Maintain accurate and uptodate project documentation including daily reports progress photos and change orders.
Collaborate with local agencies and utility companies as needed to ensure all permits and approvals are obtained.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and tradespeople fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
Proven experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role within commercial construction projects.
Indepth knowledge of construction processes safety protocols and building regulations.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams.
Proficient in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
OSHA certification and relevant safety training is a plus.
