Job Description

Horizon School Division is committed to engaging and empowering all learners and prioritizes strong instruction response to intervention and wellness.
Central Elementary School is an Early Learning to grade five elementary school that supports a diverse community of learners in the heart of Taber Alberta. We have a population of approximately 225 students and a staff of 24.
Hours of work include: Monday Thursday 8:20 a.m. 12:00 p.m. & Friday 8:20 a.m. 12:07 p.m.
Experience working with students of younger ages and various needs is pertinent. Training with communication English as additional language and supporting students with complex needs would be considered an asset. An understanding of inclusion and supports for diverse learners would be seen as a strength. This position will require the candidate to work closely with students who have complex needs such as autism physical adaptations and speech and/or language delays.
