Temple Faculty Physicians the academic practice plan of Temple Health is made up of more than 500 employed physicians who are the cornerstone of clinical care and teaching for Temples healthcare enterprise. These physicians practice in 20 academic departments encompassing virtually every subspecialty in modern medicine.
While remaining committed to our mission of serving patients in our North Philadelphia community in recent years Temple Faculty Physicians has expanded its geographic reach beyond Temple University Hospitals Health Sciences campus. Today Temple faculty physician offices are located at Temple University Hospital and its campuses satellite offices located in Center City Philadelphia Fort Washington PA Oaks PA and various other outpatient settings. This expanded reach has brought Temple medical care closer to home for many of our patients.
Oversees the development integration and administration of Ambulatory Services operations and/or supporting functions. Directs and implements financial strategic planning supporting services and/or operational activities for ambulatory functions operations and affiliated relationships. Facilitates quality improvement initiatives and the integration of the Health Systems values. Makes recommendations for new initiatives to Vice President Ambulatory Operations. Direct reporting to Vice President Ambulatory Operations for daily responsibilities; leadership/oversight of new strategic initiatives for TFPP.Education
Bachelors Degree: Health Care Administration Public Health Business (Required)
Masters Degree: Health Care Administration Public Health Business (Required) (Will consider in progress status along with relevant experience)
Experience
10 years progressively responsible senior management experience in ambulatory or healthcare department administration in a related field (Required)
Progressively challenging managerial experience in an organization of comparable scope and complexity.
Proven track record as a business partner with the ability to implement new initiatives.
Ability to multitask function independently and make decisions as a representative of the Vice President of Ambulatory Operations.
Financial program and business planning; staff supervision and development.
This position requires the ability to apply broad technical clinical or professional knowledge and significant jobrelated experience to function as an internal consultant and assume managerial responsibility in a regional setting within a large and complex organization.
