We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Operations Manager to oversee and manage our roofing projects from inception to completion. This role is responsible for supervising crews ensuring project efficiency maintaining safety compliance and driving company profitability. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills indepth knowledge of commercial roofing systems and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Plan schedule and manage all commercial roofing projects ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Hire train and supervise roofing crews foremen and subcontractors to optimize performance.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage workforce schedules materials and equipment to ensure seamless project .
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project costs reduce waste and improve efficiency to maximize profitability.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections to ensure workmanship meets industry and company standards.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers addressing concerns and providing updates.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Coordinate with vendors for materials negotiate pricing and manage subcontractor agreements.
- ProblemSolving: Address unexpected project challenges weatherrelated delays and technical issues effectively.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate project reports budgets and job site documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commercial roofing and at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Knowledge: Expertise in commercial roofing systems (TPO EPDM PVC Modified Bitumen Metal Roofing etc..
- Leadership: Strong ability to manage teams resolve conflicts and improve operational efficiency.
- Project Management: Experience with budgeting scheduling and coordinating largescale projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software MS Office and estimating tools.
- Safety Compliance: Understanding of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for team coordination and client interaction.
- ProblemSolving: Ability to analyze project issues and implement effective solutions.
- Drivers License: Must have a valid drivers license and ability to travel between job sites.
