2K Games is headquartered in Novato California and is a wholly owned label of TakeTwo Interactive Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO). Founded in 2005 2K Games is a global video game company publishing titles developed by some of the most influential game development studios in the world. Located in Vancouver BC 2K Sports Lab is a small collective being formed within 2K Games that is driving the research and development of future sports interactive entertainment programs. Within this group speculative work will be done on future sports games with an eye towards taking the magic of 2Ks publishing and development expertise and applying them to future opportunities.

What We Need
We are looking for an experienced Expert/Senior Online Engineer capable of working with our online team to build impactful features and services for both players and developers. You will work closely with technical leads product owners and producers to create the best possible experience as we build the next massive sports franchise in our industry!
What You Will Do
Architect implement and maintain robust multiplayer networking systems using Unreal Engine 5
Collaborate closely with designers artists and fellow senior engineers to translate innovative multiplayer concepts into polished highquality experiences
Involvement in full stack development working on both game client and backend services
Profile and optimize gameplay and network code for peak performance efficient memory usage and optimal bandwidth management
Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to multiplayer functionality ensuring a stable and consistent player experience across all platforms
Produce code that is clean efficient welldocumented and conforms to our coding standards
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit
Bachelors degree and 6 years of related experience building and delivering high quality online experiences for games
Demonstrated expert ability in C software development
Experience working on multiple shipped titles for PC console or mobile devices
Deep experience with multithreaded programming
Ability to diagnose and solve problems quickly and independently
Has a willingness to share opinions freely and an openness to hear other opinions to consider what is best for the game
Preferred qualifications
Passionate about playing and/or watching sports
Familiar with AWS Python C# and SQL
Passion for video games (not just ours!

The pay range for this position in British Columbia at the start of employment is expected to be between $105100 and $155560 per Year. However base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates such as jobrelated knowledge skills experience and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a bonus and/or equity awards in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired employee will be in an atwill position and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time including for reasons related to individual performance company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
