Venture Global LNG (Venture Global) is a longterm lowcost provider of Americanproduced liquefied natural gas. The companys two Louisianabased export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the longterm development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration Venture Globals modular midscale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.
JOB DUTIES: Develop implement and maintain the tools and systems utilized by the teams supporting our LNG plants. Complete feasibility studies select solutions and design and implement businessdriven technology applications and tools. Have project management responsibility including financial/budget management and control of project costs. Manage the scope design development and implementation of applications software components and tools that integrate into our existing business systems. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule on budget and meet quality standards. Manage project(s) for the acquisition implementation or development of software components hardware or computer application systems. Manage vendors/contractors to assure they deliver the value and services as contracted. Ensure projects are delivered on time on budget and with high quality. Plan team resource needs and works closely with other managers to set clear expectations and roles for project team members. Participate in process and technology reengineering. Analyze and recommend implementation options. Provide business and technical integration across all related business activities. Communicate plans statuses and issues to the leadership team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: This job requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems Business Computer Science or a related field* and 5 years of professional experience in senior project management implementing technology solutions. *Employer will accept single degree or combination of degrees diplomas and/or professional experience equivalent to a Bachelors degree.
Must have the following prior experience:
- 4 years of experience leading crossfunctional teams and coordinating between different departments.
- 3 years of experience managing IT projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- 2 years of experience overseeing software development projects.
- Experience in project management tools including Microsoft Project JIRA and Trello.
- Experience with ERP systems including SAP or Oracle.
- Experience managing enterpriselevel projects including: Cloud migration projects involving AWS or Azure; Ecommerce platform implementation and maintenance; and Data analytics projects focusing on business intelligence and reporting.
- Experience or knowledge of and compliance with industry standards including ISO 9001 for quality management.
- Experience with GDPR regulations for data protection and privacy.
- Experience in managing project budgets of up to $1 million.
- Experience preparing monitoring and controlling budgets ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Experience in cost estimation and financial risk management for projects exceeding $500000.
- 10 domestic travel required
