Job Description
University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors Inc. is currently seeking individuals for a full-time position as a Mechanical Senior Project Manager located in the San Diego area.
Compensation Rage: $00
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Proven project management skills with a minimum of 10 years experience as a project manager with full mechanical contracting or related construction firms.
- Minimum 5 years experience in industrial related projects.
- Minimum 5 years of preconstruction/design-assist experience.
- Proven experience in management of healthcare data center lab higher education and semi-conductor projects. Contract value range of $15M-200M.
- Degree in Construction Management Mechanical Electrical Civil or Chemical Engineering preferred.
- Experience working with job sites in healthcare is preferred.
Computer Skills
Able to effectively operate the following computer software programs
- Microsoft Project Microsoft Office Viewpoint

Duties include safety of UMEC field personnel assigned totheir projects preconstruction design- assist field labor productivity quality assurance and coordination project financial outcome projections and reporting material and equipment procurement change order management owner/client relations project cash flow and personnel management.
