Job Description

Job Title: Locum Sonographer
Banding: 7
Rate: 60 per hour
Location: London
Duration: Temporary (Flexible based on availability)

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Locum Sonographer to join our team in London. This role offers the opportunity to perform highquality diagnostic ultrasound scans in a fastpaced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in a variety of ultrasound procedures and the flexibility to work in a dynamic healthcare setting. Responsibilities:
As a Locum Sonographer you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal obstetric musculoskeletal and vascular imaging. You will independently perform scans interpret results and provide accurate and timely reports. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be key ensuring that patient care and diagnostic accuracy are prioritized. You will also be expected to maintain detailed and uptodate patient records while adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • HCPC registration as a Sonographer (or equivalent).
  • Significant experience performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a highvolume caseload.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound techniques safety protocols and diagnostic procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with medical teams.
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred.
