What We Are Seeking
The Proposal Specialist is a creative and innovative member of Zeidlers national marketing team. Working within Zeidlers marketing team and reporting to the Director Business Development you collaborate to plan develop and produce compelling proposal submissions. In this role your strong attention to detail and organizational skills help you distill complex submission requirements into a clear set of tasks and responsibilities that you communicate to the pursuit team. With the Director of Business Development you identify the firms strategic brand position and key win themes to guide each proposal response. You are responsible for coordinating the contributions of all team members for the pursuit and ensuring a clear unified and compliant proposal response. By contributing to the firms marketing collateral and databases you continuously support the efforts and efficiency of the team. Duties include:
Supporting the Director of Business Development in developing timely highquality and competitive proposals in response to RFPs
Writing editing and proofreading proposal submissions ensuring compliance with requests clarity consistent tone of voice and brand messaging
Clearly communicating responsibilities and deadlines to the wider proposal team
Coordinating consultant submissions customizing project profiles and team information
Compiling and designing proposal submission documents using InDesign
Coordinating proposal printing and/or delivery
Searching assigned bid site(s) identifying potential opportunities for evaluation by the larger team
Gathering information to develop and maintain accurate and compelling narratives project profiles team CVs and more.
Updating and maintaining current and accurate collateral databases including project and process narratives team CVs and more
Supporting other initiatives and the larger team as needed
As a member of our team you are expected to actively adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures established by the company. This includes understanding and following all relevant guidelines participating in mandatory training sessions and consistently practicing safe work habits. You are responsible for identifying and reporting potential hazards contributing to a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your commitment to maintaining a safe workplace is crucial to the wellbeing of all employees and the overall success of our operations.
What You Will Bring
Relevant university degree or college diploma
Strong professional writing and editing skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while meeting quality standards and ontime delivery
Strong understanding of graphic design principles including successful layout and effective typography
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite specifically InDesign Illustrator Photoshop and Lightroom Microsoft Office Suite and online collaboration tools
3 years of relevant experience within architecture engineering construction or design related industry
Passionate about architecture design and citybuilding
Understand the social impact of architecture design sustainability and accessibility with an interest to express these values through written material
Ability to work in an open office environment.
This position may require the ability to travel as needed. Travel may include visiting client sites attending meetings participating in training sessions and representing the company at industry events
