Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to work in our advanced manufacturing assembly department based in ourHopkinton MA location.This is a fulltime role MondayFriday 7am3:30pm. This position will be responsible for the build and assembly of precision machinery automation systems and motion control systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly of devices requiring precision alignments and metrology
- Soldering of small gauge wires 2836 gauge)
- Using a microscope for precision alignments and soldering of small devices
- Interpreting mechanical and technical product drawings and documentation
- Ability to use standard office applications (Word Excel Email)
Skills Abilities and Education
- Ability to complete complex mechanical assembly tasks and precision metrology measurements
- Moderate soldering experience JSTD001 preferred
- Familiarity with precision mechanical alignments tools and techniques
- Can use multimeters wire strippers and standard assembly and metrology tools
- Ability to complete assembly and metrology records for regulatory and QC requirements
- Use 5S and Lean principles in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or technical certificate in a related field preferred
