Overview
At Quorum Software our Business Analysts dont just write requirements. These highly motivated hardworking individuals solve complex problems through crossfunctional collaboration.
As a Business Analyst you will work closely with the Product Manager and Product Owners to coordinate the development of new product offerings and updates to existing products. You will be the bridge between Product Management and Engineering as you work to advance the product vision.
Responsibilities
The Business Analyst will report to the Product Manager and perform some or all of the following duties in relation to product development:
- Work with Support Services and Engineering to triage potential issues and help reproduce in core environments.
- Review issues submitted by Support and Services and define acceptance criteria and test plans.
- Work with Product Management to understand business requirements and business value in order to write user stories and acceptance criteria/technical criteria to be consumed by developers throughout the release cycle
- Assist with release note reviews release presentations and executive summaries.
- Assist/guide developers on tasks during iteration with clarification of requirements/acceptance criteria
- Work with QA to fill in gaps in core test coverage maps creating data in core environments.
- Go beyond technical requirements to understand why and how a system operates
- Assist when needed in quality assurance testing activities and customer support
- Assist with enhancement request reviews and requirements gathering from services team to prepare for TRAP.
- Assist with Salesforce KB Reviews and approvals.
- Assist with functional training sessions / office hours for support services and engineering.
- Updating internal and external documentation (User Guides training documents etc)
- And other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree
- Oil & Gas accounting experience required
- Excellent communication skills to include internal/external interaction documentation and presentations
- Understanding of various software applications and/or methodologies (Agile and Scrum)
- Proven ability to selfmanage and complete project deliverables
Preferred Skills
- My Quorum Accounting (QRA QCA QCFS QDO) experience highly preferred.

- Workload occasionally requires evening and/or weekend work
- Occasional business travel
- Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check Education Verification Employment Verification Drivers License Verification and passport/ID validation.
