Senior Business Analyst
Fixed Term Contract
Grade
Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review
Working 36.5 hours per week
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientedBusiness Analystto support a strategic transformation project within ourChildren and Familiesservice area. This is a 12-month contract focused on mapping and aligning business processes across multiple service areas with a strong emphasis on data and systems analysis.
- Conduct end-to-endprocess mappingfor each service area within Children and Families.
- Identify and documentcommonalities and variancesacross service areas to support process alignment.
- Analyse and recorddata capture pointsapplications used andsystem dependencies.
- Identify and report onbarriers to effective use of existing systems including usability integration and data quality issues.
- Engage with stakeholders across directorates to gather insights and validate findings.
- Produce clear documentation and visualisations to support decision-making and service improvement.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in public sector or social care settings.
- Strong background inprocess mappingservice design andbusiness process reengineering.
- Familiarity withChildren and Families servicesand related statutory frameworks is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a complex environment.
