Job Description
Job Title: ThreePhase Solar Electrician
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled ThreePhase Solar Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing maintaining and troubleshooting solar PV systems ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission threephase solar PV systems including inverters wiring and panels.
- System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair solar electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all installations comply with SANS regulations electrical codes and safety standards.
- Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to the team and clients.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installations inspections and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Qualified ThreePhase Electrician (Trade Test Certificate)
- Wiremans License (advantageous)
- PV GreenCard or P4 Certification (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in solar PV installations
- Strong technical and problemsolving skills
- Knowledge of solar inverters batteries and distribution boards
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel when required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
