Our client is seeking a PreConstruction Manager to join their team and contribute to a company known for its familyoriented culture. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with owners architects and design professionals throughout the project lifecycle including conceptual planning design development construction documentation budget preparation and project transition to operations.
- Develop conceptual budgets early in the project based on clientprovided unit metrics.
- Conduct constructability reviews at various design stages to ensure feasibility and efficiency.
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates that clearly outline project costs and scope at different phases.
- Create final contract exhibits that reflect the approved budget for client approval and .
- Perform value engineering studies to address budget concerns and propose costeffective solutions.
- Utilize bidding software to prepare detailed instructions for bidders tradespecific clarifications and comprehensive bid packages.
- Review and validate subcontractor bids and proposed project schedules.
- Engage in subcontractor and client outreach to expand partnerships and business opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry and community events and actively participate in business development activities.
- Innovate and enhance preconstruction practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
- Provide training and mentorship for preconstruction staff as opportunities arise.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Ability to read navigate and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting proposals and project estimates.
- Capable of managing multiple assignments concurrently with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive solutionsoriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word etc..
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience in preconstruction management.
- Knowledge of building construction materials systems market conditions and trade practices.
