Job Description
Location: Cape Town
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our client and their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail excellent drawing skills and the ability to create accurate technical drawings for a variety of projects. The Draughtsman will work closely with engineers architects and other professionals to produce detailed drawings that adhere to industry standards and project requirements.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed technical drawings using computeraided design (CAD) software
Collaborate with engineers architects and other professionals to understand project requirements and objectives
Review and interpret design specifications schematics and blueprints
Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings by verifying dimensions materials and other details
Make revisions to drawings as needed based on feedback from team members
Maintain organized and uptodate files of drawings and other project documentation
Adhere to industry standards and best practices for technical drawing and drafting
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Draughtsman or similar role
Proficiency in computeraided design (CAD) software such as Civil 3D AutoCAD or SolidWorks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent drawing and drafting skills
Ability to interpret technical specifications and blueprints
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for technical drawing and drafting
Strong communication and collaboration skills
