EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer located in Walsall that is currently in the market for an NDT Supervisor to join their company on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities
Due to internal changes and off the back of continued success our client is seeking an experienced NDT Supervisor to lead and support their inspection team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Manage and oversee the NDT inspection team and daily workflow.
Perform and supervise DPI MPI and Visual inspections to ASME standards.
Maintain accurate records issue reports and liaise with key stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance support and training to team members.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety COSHH and calibration controls.
Identify and halt production when defects or quality issues arise.
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
Essential:
- PCN Level 2 & ASNT OR PCN & NAS410 1day ASNT course provided) OR ASNT & NAS410 (additional training required).
Experience in DPI MPI and Visual Inspection.
- Background in welded component inspection ideally from heavy engineering power nuclear oil & gas petrochemical or agricultural industries.
Desirable:
- Radiography and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) experience.
Prior mentoring or supervisory experience.
Experience as a supervisor or acting in a leadership role.
Willingness to train for Level 3 certification.
