RPOs client is actively seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team in Roodepoort Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the manufacturing industry leading production teams ensuring quality standards and driving operational efficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to advance their career. This is a fulltime onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide production staff to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure production meets quality specifications and company standards.
- Monitor machines to ensure optimal operation and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Conduct safety checks and enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage materials handling both inside the shop and outdoors as required.
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries.
- Track downtime plan maintenance and ensure smooth production flow.
- Provide leadership address absenteeism and manage disciplinary matters.
- Promote a right firsttime approach driving initiatives to reduce waste.
- Report and process safety incidents and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and develop production employees to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in the manufacturing industry.
- Matric (Grade 12 qualification (minimum requirement).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to monitor and maintain machine performance and quality output.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work overtime as required.
