Senior Manager Talent Acquisition

Pursuit Collection is seeking an innovative dynamic and accomplished Talent Acquisition leader with proven success in leading teams building talent pipelines developing sourcing strategies and achieving key talent acquisition metrics with a strong focus on continuous improvement. The Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition will oversee our talent acquisition efforts across Canada. With a passion for building relationships and driving results this leader will inspire coach and support operations teams to efficiently and creatively identify and attract top talent throughout all stages of the talent lifecycle. Reporting to Pursuits Senior Director of Talent Acquisition this role will be a key member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team.

Our goal as Pursuits TA team is to attract hire and retain great team members who not only have the necessary qualifications but also drive our mission to connect guests and staff to iconic places through unforgettable inspiring experiences. This role is based in the Calgary Banff or Jasper office of Pursuit Support Services. Some travel to and from other locations will be required. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and reside in Calgary.

Strategic Leadership &

• Lead and manage talent acquisition initiatives across Canada focusing on highvolume recruitment for frontline positions.
• Collaborate with Operations teams to identify talent needs and deliver creative efficient solutions throughout the entire talent lifecycle.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive Talent Acquisition Plan that aligns with business goals ensuring an outstanding recruitment process.
• Drive the Banff Jasper Collections attractiveness by leveraging digital and social media to engage top talent and elevate our employer brand.
• Partner with the Director of P&C and Senior Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement sourcing strategies including headhunting and selection of top talent for our properties.

Team Leadership & Development

• Inspire coach and guide the Talent Acquisition team on recruiting best practices to build expertise and foster career development.
• Build a highperforming team ensuring they have the skills tools and support to succeed in meeting hiring goals.
• Provide mentorship and direction to TA team members to enhance their recruiting strategies and .

Recruiting & Sourcing

• Actively recruit for both higherlevel and hourly roles managing job description creation posting sourcing and interviewing as volume requires.
• Develop implement and refine sourcing strategies using social channels such as Instagram and TikTok to attract frontline team members.
• Work closely with leaders to understand hiring needs and craft targeted strategies for filling toughtofill positions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local hospitality and trade schools to ensure a steady pipeline of local talent.

Data Analysis & Process Optimization

• Analyze recruiting strategies and use KPI scorecards to measure performance ensuring alignment with staffing goals.
• Assess and refine recruitment tools technology and processes to streamline hiring and reduce timetohire.
• Continuously gather and report candidate feedback and data leading enhancements for a seamless and worldclass candidate experience.

Collaboration & Market Intelligence

• Partner with crossfunctional teams to tap into new talent pools and develop scalable recruitment solutions.
• Stay informed on industry trends best practices and labor market insights ensuring our recruitment approach remains competitive and effective.
• Drive process improvements through collaboration with other departments ensuring alignment across the business for better recruitment outcomes.

Education & Experience

• University or College degree in Human Resources business or related field or relevant work experience.
• 3 years of experience in a leadership role in Talent Acquisition with handson experience in highvolume recruitment for frontline positions.
• Workday ATS experience is required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a complex workload and a varied calendar in a fastpaced environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to analyze data and pivot recruitment strategies quickly to meet staffing goals.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships across various business units and external industry partners.
• Selfmotivated resultsdriven and passionate about talent leadership with a track record of success.
• Experience using social media channels (Instagram TikTok) for recruitment efforts.
• Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities professionally.
