CNC Miller Programmer
Wolverhampton
Permanent
Circa 20.50 per hour / 40000 p.a
Overview
We are looking for a skilled CNC Miller Programmer to join an engineering company located in Wolverhampton on a permanent basis. Our client specialises in the manufacture of prototypes and newly designed projects which are simply one of a kind. The components range from medium to large and are used to create complex equipment for the Nuclear Petrochemical Defence and Energy markets.

Your responsibilities include:
- Set operate and program machines using Fanuc controls including making fixtures when required
- Produce a wide range of low volume prototype components
- Working to tight tolerances of microns
- Machining exotic materials such as Inconel Titanium etc to produce components
- Maintain accurate records for all work in order to comply with company and industry standards
Suitable applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in setting operating and programming 35 axis Milling machines using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
- Ideally machined precision components for high profile industries such as; Nuclear Petrochemical Oil & Gas Defence etc.
- Experience working with low volume prototype work
- Machining exotic materials such as Duplex Inconel and Titanium
- Working to tight tolerances of microns
- Confident read and interpreting engineering drawings
- Performed multiple set ups per day
- Previous experience with vertical or horizontal boring is desirable but not essential
