Job Description
Job Summary
We are in search of a skilled Trainer for Part Making Helpers with expertise in the garment leather and goods manufacturing industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for instructing workers on the cutting stitching assembling and finishing of various components used in apparel leather goods and accessories production. The role entails ensuring the proper utilization of machines tools and materials while upholding quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruct and mentor helpers in cutting stitching embossing pasting and assembling garment leather and accessory parts.
- Demonstrate the correct operation of sewing machines cutting tools adhesives and finishing techniques.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards to produce defectfree products.
- Educate trainees on various fabric leather and synthetic materials and their handling techniques.
- Monitor trainees progress and provide practical guidance for skill enhancement.
- Develop training materials manuals and handson workshop sessions.
- Enforce workplace safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with production supervisors to align training with production objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Qualification: Minimum ITI / Diploma in Leather Technology Garment Manufacturing or related fields.
- Experience: 3 years in garment leather goods or accessories manufacturing with a preference for training experience.
- Strong knowledge of stitching cutting finishing and assembling techniques.
- Familiarity with industrial sewing machines diecutting embossing and pressing machines.
- Good communication and handson training skills.
- Ability to identify skill gaps and enhance training programs.
Preferred Experience
- Previous involvement in handmade and machinemade leather goods bags footwear or garment manufacturing.
- Understanding of fashion accessories leather tanning and finishing processes.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing quality control and production optimization.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum ITI/Diploma in Leather Technology Garment Manufacturing or related fields
- 3 years of experience in garment leather goods or accessories manufacturing with training experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of stitching cutting finishing and assembling techniques
- Familiarity with industrial sewing machines
