Team Leader Childrens Residential Home
Location: Cleckheaton West Yorkshire
Salary: 39021 p/a Working Hours: Average of 37.3h per week (as per rota) with allocated admin hours as needed
Current shift times start at 9.30am 11pm sleep in & 7.30am 10am the following day Total of 16 hours.
Handover between shifts happen at 9.30am 10am. This is where ALL the information from the previous day is
Handed over to the next shift.
Hourly Rate: 14.75 p/h
Number of Sleeps Required: Approx. 122 per year
Pay Per Sleep: 60 per sleep (Approx. 7320 p/a)

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader who is passionate about supporting young people with challenging behaviours and learning disabilities. You will be responsible for providing a safe therapeutic and nurturing environment ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained. You must demonstrate leadership and strong organisational skills to manage shifts effectively and ensure the development of your team.
Managing shifts and leading a team of support workers
Ensuring compliance with internal policies and Ofsted regulations
Updating placement plans health needs and risk assessments
Providing supervision and mentorship to staff
Ensuring the home environment is safe clean and homely
Liaising with external agencies schools and professionals
Participating in recruitment and onboarding of new staff
Covering oncall duties as required 35 per oncall approx. 3027 p/a)
Additional care contact hours paid at 22.12 p/h
