The Multidomain Solutions Division (MDS) within the Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a skilled Senior Cyber Security Architect to join a new cyber security program and play a key role in supporting governmentcritical systems. You will be part of a program that oversees development integration delivery and operations and maintenance of IT managed security services which encompasses support to monitor the cybersecurity threat and security posture situational awareness for the enterprise. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award!
What youll be doing:
- Lead the design and implementation of robust security architectures across our enterprise systems.
- Apply deep expertise in security frameworks cloud security risk assessment and compliance ensuring that our infrastructure applications and data are secure against evolving threats.
- Design develop and implement enterprisewide security architectures and frameworks.
- Lead risk assessments and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Define security policies standards and best practices across cloud and onpremises environments.
- Provide guidance on security technologies including firewalls identity & access management (IAM) encryption SIEM and endpoint protection.
- Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloudnative applications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST ISO 27001 GDPR HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct security reviews of systems applications and thirdparty integrations.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents performing forensic analysis when needed.
- Stay ahead of emerging threats vulnerabilities and security technologies.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to security teams and other stakeholders.
What does Leidos need from me
- Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required. Must be U.S. Citizen.
- Masters degree and 15 to 20 years of prior relevant experience in order to operate within the scope contemplated by the level. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Favorable if you have:
- CompTIA Network.
- CISSP or other IAT III.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $148850.00 $269075.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
