How will I help
Global Investment Services seek to provide unique and differentiated insights expertise and investment opportunities for selfdirected high net worth wholesale clients.
Reporting to the Head of South Region as a Global Investment Services (GIS) Director you will join a high calibre expert team of Investment Specialists with a focus on supporting and advising HNW clients on their investment selection.
As a Director you will partner and collaborate with our private banking team as well as stakeholders across other business units driving a collaborative approach to acquire new clients across Westpac Group by presenting your technical expertise and generating a positive client experience.
Other day to day responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute client and prospect engagement plans to generate close and replenish client opportunity pipelines
- Investment presentations to small and large groups of clients and stakeholders
- Drive strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve year on year growth
- Lead the engagement of clients at ongoing investment reviews
- Drive banker capability uplift through education learning and development activities.

What do I need
- Bachelor of Commerce Finance Business or a related discipline
- Strong sales experience and track record of client engagement and management in financial markets/funds management/HNW segment.
- Investment expertise in asset classes across fixed income and/or Equities.
- Experience in the HNW client segment either within Private Banking or Private Wealth is desired.
- Strong presentation skills
- Knowledge and demonstrated implementation of compliance and risk management
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite; Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint
- Exceptional literacy numeracy and attention to detail
