The Assets and Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the management maintenance and optimization of company assets and facilities. This role ensures that all physical assets including buildings equipment and infrastructure are wellmaintained safe and aligned with operational needs. The Manager will develop and implement asset management strategies coordinate maintenance activities manage budgets and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Tool Management:
Manage an organized inventory of tools and equipment.
Manager usage perform regular audits and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
Enter new tools in all systems
Implement a checkout/checkin system to ensure accountability and availability.
Maintain and line up calibration of tool/equipment
Fleet Management:
Manage and oversee the maintenance scheduling and operation of the company fleet.
Entering and tracking fleet in different programs
Ensure vehicles are compliant with safety regulations and company policies.
Manage repairs and inspections with service providers.
Shipping and Receiving:
Manage incoming and outgoing shipments ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manager relationships with vendors and suppliers for delivery schedules.
Manager records of shipments and inventory levels.
Internal and External Reporting:
Generate and maintain reports related to asset usage fleet status and inventory levels for internal stakeholders.
Prepare external reports as required for compliance and vendor relationships.
Identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
Internal Asset Billing:
Track and manage internal billing for asset usage among departments.
Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate billing processes and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain clear records of all transactions related to asset utilization.
Team Coordination and Leadership
Supervise Assets and Facility staff and ensure efficient task delegation.
Provide training and guidance on maintenance best practices.
Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Facilities Maintenance and Operations
Oversee facility maintenance repairs and upgrades to ensure optimal functionality.
Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programs for facilities and equipment.
Coordinate with vendors contractors and service providers for facilityrelated projects.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in facilities management asset management or a related role is desirable.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to operate machinery
