Join Our Team as a Summer Kitchen Expeditor (Residential) at Chewonki!
Are you passionate about food teamwork and creating a memorable summer experience Do you thrive in a fastpaced environment where organization and efficiency are key If so we want YOU to be a part of our Food Services team at Chewonki!
Location:Wiscasset Maine (On Campus inperson)
This is a seasonal residential position
Schedule/ 2025 Dates:June 8 2025 August 18 2025(Seasonal Position)
40 hours per week including weekends early mornings and evenings
Reports to:Director of Food Services

What Youll Do:
Be the bridgebetween our kitchen and service areas coordinating meal delivery and buffet setup.
Serve wholesome delicious mealsto campers staff and guests while maintaining highquality standards.
Ensure food safetyand proper handling organization and storage of meals.
Communicate clearlywith staff and campers regarding dietary needs and allergies.
Keep the kitchen and dining area spotlessfollowing cleaning protocols and upholding Chewonkis commitment to sustainability through proper waste reduction and composting.
Qualifications:
Minimum age of 17and ability to pass a Criminal Background Check.
Ateam playerwith excellent organizational and communication skills.
Someone with astrong work ethicwho can adapt to a flexible schedule.
ServSafe or Kitchen Expeditor certificationis a plus!
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. stand for extended periods and work in hot conditions.
Willingness tolive onsiteand immerse yourself in the camp experience.
