Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CakePHP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in PHP development and a deep understanding of the CakePHP framework. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications ensuring high performance security and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop web applications using the CakePHP framework following best practices and coding standards.
Develop and maintain backend components using the Cake PHP framework.
Design and maintain the database schema and integrate it seamlessly with CakePHP using models associations and queries.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic ensuring a responsive and visually appealing user experience.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks ensuring that the CakePHP applications run smoothly and efficiently.
Conduct thorough debugging to ensure the reliability and stability of CakePHP applications.
Use version control systems (e.g. Git) to manage code repositories and collaborate effectively with other developers.
Maintain detailed documentation of code processes and configurations for reference and future development.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including designers project managers and quality assurance testers to deliver highquality solutions.
Stay uptodate with the latest CakePHP developments and trends in web development and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Proven experience of at least 3 years as a CakePHP Developer or PHP Developer with strong knowledge of CakePHP.
Proficiency in PHP MySQL HTML CSS JavaScript and related web technologies.
Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with AngularJS is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud services and deployment (e.g. AWS).
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
