Job Description
Join our team as a Design Engineer II! In this role youll work closely with senior engineers and gain valuable technical guidance. Youll be instrumental in gas main replacement and pipeline regulator station projects leveraging your expertise to ensure all designs meet specifications. If youre ready to take on new challenges and make a meaningful impact in the gas utility industry we want to hear from you!

What Youll Do:
- Support the preparation of designs including calculations and drawings while working with drafters to complete design packages.
- Lead the development of design on simple projects and support complex projects within our Gas Programs team.
- Participate in peer reviews and QC reviews.
- Utilize CAD programs and software analysis tools in engineering design.
- Understand and apply appropriate industry codes standards and regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering from accredited university or equivalent program.
- 1 years of natural gas engineering experience preferably at an engineering consulting firm.
- Must have valid drivers license without restrictions for occasional project and client visits in Cedar Rapids and nearby areas.
