An exciting job role has recently become available at the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council. They are looking for a new member for their Adult Locality Project Team.
What will your responsibilities be
As a Social Worker in this team you will be responsible for conducting timely assessments and reviews to ensure that customers receive the necessary support without delay. You will manage your assigned cases intervening with legal and procedural authority to protect vulnerable individuals at risk of abuse or neglect. Utilizing a strengthsbased and personcentered approach you will empower individuals to develop and sustain their capacities for independent living and positive risktaking in line with the principles of the Care Act. Your role will also involve undertaking Care Act assessments support planning Mental Capacity Assessments and making best interest decisions when needed. Additionally you will work within safeguarding policies and procedures carrying out Section 42 enquiries to ensure the safety and wellbeing of adults in the community.

Qualifications and Experiences:
You must have Social Work England registration be eligible to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence. Postqualified experience and a degreelevel or equivalent qualification in Social Work are also required.
