Job Description

The Assistant Manager Purchase is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services for the company. They will develop and implement purchasing strategies manage vendor relationships negotiate contracts and monitor purchasing performance. The Purchase Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of purchasing professionals

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies that align with the companys goals and objectives
  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure that products and services are delivered on time and meet quality standards
  • Manage purchasing budgets and track expenses and identify costsaving opportunities
  • Work closely with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure that purchases are made in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Manage a team of purchasing professionals providing guidance and support as needed
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices and make recommendations for pr0cess improvements and costsaving initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors suppliers and internal stakeholder.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Experience managing a team of purchasing professionals
  • Proficiency with purchasing software and syste
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related field
5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement with a demonstrated track record of success
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
