Job Description
We are recruiting for Warehouse Machine Operator for a National Distribution Centrein Poole Dorset.
The rapidly expanding company distributes business supplies across the UK to various household names.
Salary: 26520 per annum 12 per hour)
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday
Minimum of 42.5 Hrs between the hours of 08:00am to 5:30pm 8.5 hours per day
Occasional overtime available.
Duties
- Operate the heat seal and/or embroidery machines assisting in the production of finished garments.
- Machinery checking and basic health and safety maintenance
- Report any discrepancies that may arise during the checking and labelling activity.
- Carry out the timely and accurate putaway of stock items
- Transact customer returns and either return products to stock
- Carry out stock checks
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
Personal Attributes:
- Customer focused
- A good understanding of stock control principles
- Experience of working in a busy fast paced environment
- Target driven with the will to succeed.
- Disciplined in following process
- Good communicator.
- A can do attitude.
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Familiar with the use of Computers.
- Team player.
- A valid Counterbalance forklift certificate would be an advantage (not essential)
