The Pediatric Gastroenterology Section is a dynamic and collaborative team leading the region in preventive care diagnosis and treatment of pediatric digestive and liver disorders. Our team includes 8 faculty Pediatric Gastroenterologists 6 Advanced Practice Providers 2 Pediatric Psychologists 1 Registered Dietitian 1 Social Worker 5 Pediatric GI Nurses 5 Endo Nurses and 1 Endo Tech. Specialized programs in IBD Celiac disease and Eosinophilic Esophagitis Aerodigestive CF along with a Functional GI clinic staffed by licensed Psychologists highlight our expertise. We also run a short gut and parental nutrition program through multidisciplinary clinic and surgical team. With locations in WinstonSalem Clemmons Kernersville and Greensboro North Carolina we are committed to comprehensive pediatric gastrointestinal care. We are also very excited to have received accreditation for a pediatric fellowship program to commence in 2025.
Pediatric Gastroenterologist Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited M.D. or D.O. medical school
- Current North Carolina medical license
- BC/BE in Pediatrics
- Completion of Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship
