The Product Development Principal Regulated Markets Advocacy and Alignment will be responsible for working with Government Affairs Regulated Markets and PBS teams to position the company as a thought leader and to assist in the analysis definition and communication of critical quality transparency and delivery system policy issues in legislative and/or regulatory environments including Medicare Medicaid Marketplace (HCR) and statespecific. The Principal will interface with a crossdepartmental team to gather and provide feedback to the organization to support the development of new strategies to support our clients to grow their business and streamline our support operations while supporting client compliance with Federal and State regulations as well as client contracts. The candidate will need to understand our clients strategic goals and direction as well as our products and services.
As a Principal this role will be required to maintain regulatory and operational knowledge understand industry trends and be able to build trusted relationships in a very matrixed organization. Ability to communicate across the organization and up to leadership is a key requirement for any Principal level position. An effective leader will exemplify Cignas highperformance culture and have the ability to operate in a sometimes ambiguous and highpaced environment. A successful candidate must be comfortable in an environment of dynamic change and evolution have a broadbased knowledge of Regulated Markets a strategic mindset and the ability to influence and drive change.
In addition this role requires active participation in and influencing with key industry standards organizations such as NCPDP and PCMA via virtual and external forums. This would include coordinating with internal areas and Government Affairs to gather and provide feedback within discussions and offering potential solutions in alignment with company objectives as well as seeking leadership roles as opportunities arise.
