Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate AS & A Level English Teacher to join our IGCSE school in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in English extensive experience teaching the IGCSE curriculum and a proven ability to engage students in advanced literary analysis critical thinking and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver highquality lessons for AS & A Level English aligned with the IGCSE curriculum.
- Develop students analytical writing and critical thinking skills through engaging discussions and coursework.
- Assess student progress through assignments examinations and projectbased learning.
- Provide individual support and feedback to enhance student learning outcomes.
- Foster a dynamic inclusive and interactive classroom environment.
- Stay updated with curriculum developments and best teaching practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school events.
- Participate in professional development programs and faculty meetings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree (M.A. in English and B.Ed. in English (mandatory).
- 35 years of teaching experience in an IGCSE school specifically at the AS & A Level.
- Strong knowledge of literature language and academic writing skills.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement strategies.
- Passionate about English education and developing students global perspectives.
