Department Overview
The IT OnPrem Infrastructure and Cloud Operations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations and management of the organizations onpremises infrastructure as well as its cloudbased resources. This role involves leading a team of IT professionals in maintaining upgrading and optimizing physical and virtual systems ensuring high availability performance and security of the IT environment.
Job Description

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Lead and manage the onpremises and cloud operations team providing technical expertise guidance and direction.
2. Oversee the installation configuration maintenance and troubleshooting of onpremises hardware including servers storage systems and network devices.
3. Manage cloudbased resources ensuring optimal configuration costefficiency and alignment with organizational objectives.
4. Develop and implement best practices for infrastructure management including capacity planning performance tuning and disaster recovery planning.
5. Collaborate with other IT teams such as security development and application support to ensure seamless integration and operation of all IT systems.
6. Monitor system performance conduct regular system audits and provide reports on the health and status of the IT infrastructure.
7. Manage vendor relationships negotiate contracts and ensure SLAs are met for both onpremises and cloudbased services.
8. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and propose upgrades and enhancements to keep the infrastructure current and competitive.
9. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations procedures and service records.
10. Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
11. Provide leadership in incident and problem management including timely resolution of issues and root cause analysis.
12. Manage budgeting and forecasting for IT infrastructurerelated expenses.
13. Mentor and develop team members setting performance goals and facilitating career growth.
Basic Requirements
**Qualifications**:
A bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Cisco CCNA VMware VCP).
A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of onpremises infrastructure technologies and cloud services (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
Experience with virtualization technologies containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g. VMware HyperV Docker Kubernetes).
Proficiency in network architecture and security principles.
Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g. ITIL) and project management methodologies.
Excellent problemsolving communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands in a fastpaced environment.
