Do you have a Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ City & Guilds or equivalent
Duties within this care home include preparation of food and beverages and the organisation of the service of food along with understanding the requirements of special diets for residents.
Duties may include serving of meals general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up setting up and clearing away equipment and tables) and cleaning of the kitchen its surround and equipment.
Completion of requiredpaperwork including electronic returns.
We have a vacancy for a Mobile Assistant Cook in Care Homes which provides care 7 days a week for residents.
Post consists of early and late shifts between the hours 7.30am 6pmworking5 days over 7 on a 4week rota which entails 2 weekends on and 2 weekends off 1 being a long weekend). Enhancements are paid for weekend working.

The Person
Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ City & Guilds or equivalent is essential for this post.

You will be required to attend a full days Induction Training before starting in post.
