Location: Cheshire West and Chester Council
Rate: 35 per hour
An exciting job role has recently become available in Cheshire. They are looking for a new member for their Community Adult Social Care Team.
What will your responsibilities be
In this role you will assess the need for social work services including identifying risks and the need for protection determining the method of intervention and deciding and advising on the use of appropriate social services and/or other resources. You will liaise and negotiate with other professionals statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure that the best possible service is provided for clients. You will manage and monitor an allocated workload within individual and group priorities and County policies complying with the statutory obligations of the Group. Additionally you will contribute to the evaluation and development of services and new ideas by sharing knowledge about theory skills and practice with other social services staff professional groups and interested bodies. Where appropriate you will also supervise students.

To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration be eligible to work in the UK hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level and have postqualified experience.
