Job Duties
- New equipment installation CNC troubleshooting and repair hydraulics automation and PLC controlled equipment.
- Troubleshooting diagnosing maintaining and repairing the mechanics of the productionbased equipment.
- Ability to read hydraulic pneumatic and mechanical prints.
- Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders.
- Fabrication of machine guards work platforms and other items used in the manufacturing process.
- Thread crimp and install pipe used for steam gas water air and liquid.
- Use of a wide variety of precision measuring instruments for exacting measurements.
- Work from general assignment and process with minimum Supervisor and direction.
- Close all work orders assigned to in Emaint each day accurately and timely.
- Follow all Safety policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to occasionally sit crawl reach twist push pull grip pinchcrouch/squat forward bend forward sit forward stand and climb stairs/ladders.
- Ability to frequently stand and walk.
- Ability to exert light lifting and carrying under 25 lbs up to 33 of the time.
- Ability to exert moderate lifting and carrying of 2549 lbs up to 33 of the time.
- Ability to exert heavy lifting and carrying of 50lbs up to 33 of the time.
- Ability to occasionally perform repetitive motion activities.
Desired Skills & Expertise
Valid Journeyperson card or 8 years of practical traderelated experience
Machining Operations (turning / milling / hobbing)
Grinding Operations
Heat Treat Operations
Assembly operations (light pressing gaging)
Welding operations (Arc Mig)
Machine Repair/Hydraulic expert preferred
