We are currently seeking a qualified Avionics Engineer. The role involves reviewing and approving test plans ensuring compliance with certification requirements and contributing to the successful qualification of avionics systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining certification and qualification plans along with a solid understanding of avionics system development integration and compliance.

Responsibilities
Review and approve test plans and test reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support certification and qualification planning ensuring adherence to DND/TC Part 29 or equivalent standards.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and verify avionics system requirements.
Provide expertise in Flight Management Systems (FMS) and radio systems (military radio experience is a plus).
Conduct and support systemlevel testing verification and validation activities.
Work closely with certification authorities to achieve compliance.
Contribute to risk assessments and failure mode analyses.
Participate in customer and internal technical reviews to track progress and ensure system integrity.
Basic Qualifications
Atleast 8 years of direct experience in avionics system engineering preferably in certification testing and test planning.
Experience with DND/Transport Canada (TC) aircraftlevel certification (Part 29 or equivalent).
Strong background in electrical engineering with a focus on avionics.
Experience with military radio avionics systems is nice to have.
