IronMountain Solutions Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in enterprise level systems development to provide Systems Engineering technical services. In support of the customer at Redstone Arsenal you will assist with the development of digital engineering models and conduct systems engineering analyses that will facilitate system of systems integration across the Army and Joint Force working with the Future Vertical Lift Cross Functional Team.

Job Duties:

• Use modeling and simulation and modelbased system engineering tools to deliver objective insights to support strategic modernization decisions.
• Provide technical and programmatic guidance to the programmatic system level requirements process.
• Work across multiple organizations to identify and define future capability and interoperability needs.
• Identify system requirements and analyze system level tradeoffs.
• Lead a systems engineering team in collaboration and approval of engineering products through engineering reviews and engineering milestone events.
• Develop systems models using the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) for a large enterprise.
• Develop digital engineering strategies in support of development of Department of Defense (DoD)weapon systems.
• Assess the performance of current and future Army Aviation platform concepts.
• Develop digital engineering models to capture the holistic view of the enterprise.
• Prepare briefings for senior decision makers.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 25 pounds.

Education and General Experience:

• Degreed Engineer (systems engineering experience preferred) Bachelors and ten 10 years or more experience; Masters and eight 8 years or more experience; PhD and four 4 years or more experience.
• Application of MBSE principles to traditional Systems Engineering problem sets.
• Familiarity with and ability to develop digital engineering products using common modelling standards and languages (i.e. MagicDraw Unified Profile for MODAF and DoDAF (UPDM) Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Systems Modelling Language (SysML) to facilitate informed decision making.
• Preferred to have proven multifaceted engineering experience exposure and understanding of technical and operational fundamentals the acquisition process and requirements development associated with Army Aviation.
• A working understanding of the JCIDS processes and Capability Based Assessments.
• Understanding of requirement generation and subsequent validation / verification.
• Proven experience with technical fundamentals in existing Army programs (e.g. ground vehicles aviation missile defense long range fires/ artillery Soldier systems).
• Awareness and working knowledge of Army Science and Technology enterprise support to Army modernization.
• Experience in the development of pertinent systems engineering products across the span of Department of Defense Acquisition cycle.
• Familiarity with Army experimentation practices.
• Ability to recommend enterprise requirements tradeoffs impacts and advancement.
• Proven experience in development and use of modeling for enterprise solutions.
• Expertlevel understanding of core systems engineering and analysis disciplines and processes.
• Experience with lifecycle readiness from System Requirements Review through system decommissioning.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced dynamic and energetic environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to brief programmatically strategically and technically to senior leadership.
• Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in community forums.

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance; TS/ SCI preferred
