Job Description
Global Helium and Rare Gases is seeking a Cryofill Technician 1 to join our team located in East Chicago IN.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
The Cryofill Service Transfiller Global Helium and Rare Gases is responsible for but not limited to the following:
Must be professional
Committed to personal safety and environmental accountability
Work unsupervised and independently in safe manner
Operate a 33000 VGW straight truck
Safe handling of hazardous materials (liquid & gaseous helium)
Deliver liquid helium to customer sites and transfer into MRI units
Maintain neat clean and professional personal appearance
Listen to and resolve service inquiries and complaints/issues
Comply with all OSHA and DOT regulations/requirements
Sign on Bonus:$1000 (paid after 90 days)
Retention Bonus: $3500 total $1500 paid after 180 days and then $2000 paid after 365 days)
Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
CDL Class B license with Hazmat endorsement
Skills Required:
This position requires a wellrounded individual willing to be trained and perform all duties in accordance with standard operating procedures.
We provide paid training!
Work performed in medical/hospital setting
Intermediate level computer skills; Microsoft Office (Excel Word Teams)
Technical role with troubleshooting and problem solving
Mechanical Electrical or HVAC experience desired
Customer Service experience is a plus.
Able to pass a preemployment DOT physical (up to and including drug & alcohol test road test)
Willing to be flexible; work schedule includes nighttime hours and overnight stays.
Oncall 24/7
Travel Percentage:
Up to 60
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.The employee frequently is required to sit.The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.The employee must frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 75 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision and ability to adjust focus.
