Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney Australia but weve made our way from down under to a campus in Austin Texas which is now home to our US operations.

What youd be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thats all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things youll be working on when you start but this will likely evolve.

At the moment this role is focused on:

  • Provide on-site & remote tech support to Canvanauts at our Austin campus.

  • Support and troubleshoot all on-site Canva hardware devices including MacBooks mobile devices network infrastructure and video conferencing equipment.

  • Support management of USA Canva assets including maintaining accurate records procurement provisioning and management.

  • Support with the onboarding and offboarding of Canvanauts across the Americas.

  • Contribute to our global support model through responding to service requests through our service channels with a focus on supporting users across the Americas.

  • Provide AV support for all Canva events in Austin / USA.

  • Contribute to IT Supergroup & Global Tech Support Team goals to continually improve our service delivery model.

Youre probably a match if

  • You deliver exceptional customer service and have experience supporting users on-site.

  • Youre comfortable supporting Apple/Mac hardware in an enterprise environment especially when MDM-managed.

  • Youve supported or administered tools like Canva Google Workspace Okta Jira Confluence Slack and Zoom.

  • Youve handled onboarding and offboarding tasks including access provisioning and hardware logistics.

  • Youve supported office infrastructurefrom networking to meeting rooms event spaces and printers.

  • Youve managed hardware assets engaged with vendors and maintained accurate asset records and distribution.

  • You communicate clearly in both writing and speech and enjoy contributing to user and technical documentation.

  • You thrive in dynamic environments where you can balance multiple tasks and shifting priorities.

  • Youre experienced working as part of a globally distributed team and know how to collaborate across time zones.

Canva is seeking a highly motivated IT/Tech Support Engineer to join our Austin Hub to support Canvanauts to do the best work of their lives! Its more than tickets at Canva - youll have the opportunity to contribute to projects that improve our service delivery learn new skills and work in a collaborative globally distributed team. Were looking for someone whos passionate about excellent customer service and has demonstrated experience in a similar role within an IT / AV / Tech support environment.
