Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a coursebycourse basis; strong academic background is required.
Semester: Summer Semester
Adjunct Faculty: Massage Therapy Program
The instructor will be responsible for preparing and teaching an 11week 3 Credit Massage Therapy course. The instructor must be familiar with and experienced teaching in an inperson online and/or blended learning environment using a variety of platforms including Zoom.
Course: HOSP244 Introduction to the Spa Industry
Adjunct appointments are temporary for a specified contract period and may require in classroom and/or online instruction.
The compensation rate is $800$950 per contact hour or $47.95 $59.45 per clinical rate per hour if applicable. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:
Education: Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years related teaching and/or professional work experience related to the teaching assignment shall be considered as meeting the subject/content area requirements.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years professional experience in the field of Massage Therapy depending on education.
Licensure: Faculty must possess current NH LMT Licensure and current Liability insurance.
