Job Description
PartTimeMonday Friday ideally available to pick up hours between 7am and 4pm
Johnson County Montessori School is seeking caring and enthusiastic teachers to join our team! Are you passionate about helping children learn Have you been looking for a fun creative environment where you can grow your career If so we want you to teach in our classrooms!
As a SubstituteTeacher you will fill in openings as needed working with young children in our Montessori environment.
Specific duties include:
- Protecting childrens health and safety
- Promoting the active engagement of all children while maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Responding calmly and consistently to challenging behavior
- Remaining actively engaged with children and/or other classroom responsibilities at all times
- One two years of prior teaching experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to meet all necessary licensing requirements
- The ability to observe ask questions listen actively and give and accept feedback effectively
- A high energy level adaptability assertiveness and patience
