Description

WTW Maintenanceservicesengineersareresponsibleforensuringthecosteffective environmentally consciousmaintenance of all building engineering services and contributing with integratingsustainable designs to existing equipment and plant within our buildings.

Areas of responsibility include but not limited to all equipment and materials involved with heating boilers pumps building chillers lighting ventilation air conditioning and distribution systemselectricaldistribution and UPS systems standby generatorswatersupply distribution sanitation employee &publichealthfireprotection systemssafetysystemslifts & escalators operations building operation with BMS control systems.

TheRole:

PrincipalAccountabilities Conduct Risk:

  • Toputtheinterestsof ourclientsandtheintegrityofthemarketattheheartofthewayyoudobusiness

PrincipalDuties/Responsibilities

Amultiskilledengineer(Mechanicallyqualified)isrequired:

  • Tojoinanestablished full timeinhouse maintenanceteamincludingweekend workingwhenrequired
  • Undertaking maintenanceallaspectsofbuildingservicesworkingonawidevariety ofplant
  • OperationalknowledgeofBMSsystems (JohnsonControlsandSimmtronicsLighting advantageous)
  • ResponsibilitieswouldincludereactiveandplannedmaintenancetoallBuildingServices.
  • Participationinanoutofhourscalloutprocedure.
  • Interactionwithbuildingusersofalllevelsandthirdpartyserviceprovidersisrequired.


Qualifications

TheRequirements:

Candidateswillneedtoshowevidenceofthe following:

  • Mechanical/ElectricalapprovedApprenticeshipwithin experience of large office environments
  • GasSafe and FGAS regulations/knowledgedesirable
  • Knowledge of HSG274andtrainedon water distribution systems ACOPL8 (CoolingTowers desirable)
  • KnowledgeofBMS & ControlsSystems use
  • LV/UPS/Generator experience within a building services environment
  • Problemsolving &Analytical ability within the building services environment
  • Communicationskills at all levels
  • Theabilitytoworkaspartofateamorindividually
  • KnowledgeofHealth &Safetystandardsandlegislation (NVQs/CITB/IOSH/NEBOSH)
  • Health & Safety courses related to building services WAHIPAF PASMA PUWERMH COSHH etc.
  • Microsoft applications Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint IT competency & numeracy
  • Technicaldrawing reading basic operation use ofCADand generalITcompetence
  • Self timemanagement disciplined
