The Role
Were looking for an experienced MLfocused Software Engineer to work with the applied ML team. Our ideal partnerincrime works well in startup environments is comfortable wearing many hats and is always down to take calculated risks. Were moving fast and not looking for people to come along for the ride were looking for people to pave the path.
Your Mission
- Develop new features for Tavus utilizing computer vision and NLP models
- Take ownership of some key ML Ops items such as testing CI/CD or data processing pipelines
- Design and test new experiments to improve our core generative AI models
- Improve our existing technical foundations and influence our technical direction and strategy
Requirements
- Self starter with a getstuffdone attitude highly motivated and eager to learn
- At least 23 years of industry experience in software development or adjacent positions
- Deep experience with Python and PyTorch
- Knowledgable about video processing or video streaming
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Additionally having some of the following experiences may help you be successful in this position:
- Infrastructure and architecture experience (devops mlops)
- Experience developing lowlatency applications (algorithm optimization threading multiprocessing queue systems)
- Have trained or finetuned your own LLM
- Experience implementing research papers
- Have played Portal 1 and 2 (if not youll need to play as part of onboarding
