Europa Village is looking to fill the position of a parttime Retail Sales Associate. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service with an outgoing selfmotivated and energetic personality. Strong cash handling skills is a must.
Reports to
- Retail Manager
Responsibilities Specific to Retail Sales Clerk
- Possess and live Europa Village core values.
- Greets guests as they enter the retail store.
- Answers any questions guests may have and calls for assistance from the Retail Manager when necessary.
- Accurately and efficiently run POS system and complete sales transactions.
- Wraps and bags merchandise for guests.
- Calculates sale member or promotional discounts to determine price.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the register area.
- Answers store phone and transfers calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
- Recommends products a guest may be interested in.
- Assists guests with locating items in the retail store.
- Keeps the retail shop and retail areas clean and orderly.
- Retrieves items from storage room.
- Assists in displaying and restocking items throughout the store and retail area.
- Marks and/or tags prices on merchandise.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Scheduled Friday Saturday & Sunday.
- Has an eye for attention to detail.
- Other duties as assigned.
Expectations of the Retail Sales Clerk
- Create and foster an environment of teamwork by helping fellow employees or guests without a second thought.
- Be able to communicate Europa Villages story.
- Ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.
- Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards and clean pressed uniform and appropriate slacks stockings and shoes.
- Arrive on time and be respectful of attendance and punctuality
- Adhere to Europa Village policies and procedures.
- Be hospitable welcoming and exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to assist where necessary.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Friday Saturday and Sunday.
Compensation: $17.00 $18.00 per hour
