Job Description

The Commercial and Fleet Salesperson is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with commercial clients and fleet operators to drive sales of vehicles and related products. This role involves prospecting negotiating contracts providing tailored solutions and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction while meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with commercial clients fleet operators towns municipalities and businesses requiring vehicle fleets.
  • Develop and maintain a database in CRM of prospective and current clients through networking cold calling and relationshipbuilding activities.
  • Prepare and present tailored sales proposals including vehicle pricing financing options and maintenance plans.
  • Conduct indepth needs assessments with clients to understand their business requirements and recommend suitable vehicle solutions.
  • Negotiate terms finalize sales agreements and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including finance service and delivery to ensure seamless order processing and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities client interactions and transactions using the companys CRM system.
  • Provide postsale support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends market conditions and competitor activities.
  • Attend industry events trade shows and meetings to build relationships and promote company offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales preferably in commercial fleet or automotive sales.
  • Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid drivers license and complete a preemployment drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B sales and fleet management.
  • Knowledge of financing options and lease structures for commercial clients.

Compensation

  • Base salary plus commission structure.
