Description
The Shift Supervisor (OSSS) oversees daily performance of Material Coordinators at the client warehouse location ensuring contract compliance in all logistics functions including receipt storage distribution inventory integrity and documentation. The OSSS supervises staff plans workload distribution manages inventory accuracy enforces safety procedures maintains performance standards and utilizes government systems to track material movements. The OSSS collaborates closely with the Program Manager and government personnel to coordinate operational requirements execute quality controls adjust resource allocation and ensure proper training and documentation are maintained for all personnel.

- Supervise daily work performance of all contracted Material Coordinators at the assigned warehouse site.
- Assign and prioritize work based on operational needs difficulty of tasks and employee capability ensuring timeliness and quality of output.
- Provide handson training and guidance to new and existing staff in line with contract expectations and warehouse procedures.
- Maintain and monitor records reports and documentation reflecting warehouse performance and project status.
- Enforce DLS standards and ensure all transactions meet accuracy benchmarks.
- Collaborate with government personnel to implement standard operating procedures warehouse instructions and safety policies.
- Monitor daily activity and provide realtime performance feedback to employees including conducting performance evaluations and coaching.
- Participate in candidate interviews and provide input on hiring decisions; recommend employee selections for contract roles.
- Ensure accurate task assignment with at least 90 accuracy in order drops and timely of functions per schedule.
- Identify and escalate issues delays or operational gaps to the OnSite Program Manager for resolution.
- Lead the implementation of revised processes or corrective actions including conflict resolution procedural changes and documentation of employee training.
- Maintain compliance with all federal guidelines including OSHA standards and VA safety regulations.
Travel
This position may require travel up to 15 within the state of Illinois or to the contracts primary location in Colorado.
Work Schedule
MondayFriday Eight 8 hour shift betweento be determined upon hire.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two 2 years of supervisory experience in warehouse supply chain or logistics operations is required; five 5 years preferred.
- Completion of one to two years of higher education or equivalent technical/trade school education preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations including order fulfillment shipping/receiving processes and inventory management.
- Strong organizational time management and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in:
- Inventory software and tracking systems
- Microsoft Windows 10
- Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office 2010 or later)
- Data entry and report generation
- Knowledge of loss prevention warehouse safety hazardous material handling and OSHA standards.
- Ability to plan direct and assess team performance and guide employee development.
- Demonstrated experience managing inventory accuracy executing procedural controls and leading warehouse teams to meet missioncritical deadlines.
- Must be able to navigate warehouse environments safely.
- Must provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States without an employer sponsored visa.
- Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance.

- $73500.00$86000.00
