****Senior Information Technology Specialist is defined as a senior information technology consultant to the executive management of the Internal Services Department providing expert consultative services in specific areas of systems support to executive departmental and customer management or performing the most complex technical work in a specialized field of information technology.

License:

Our Assessment Process

This examination will consist of an evaluation of training and experience based on application information and supplemental questionnaire weighted at 100. Each candidates background will be evaluated on the basis of information provided on their County of Los Angeles Employment Application and Supplemental Questionnaire that pertains to the areas of the REQUIREMENTS and DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS to determine the level and scope of the candidates job preparation for this position.
Candidates must achieve a passing score of 70 or higher on the Training and Experience to be added onto the list of eligible candidates.

ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION:
The names of candidates receiving a passing score in the Training and Experience Evaluation will be placed on the Eligible Register in the order of their score group for a period of twelve 12 months following the date of promulgation. Passing this examination and being placed on the Eligible Register do not guarantee an offer of employment.
Applications will be processed on an asreceived basis and promulgated to the eligible register accordingly.
No person may compete for this examination more than once every twelve 12 months.
